Methodology

The course will start in January 2026 and conclude by October or early November 2026 with the final in-person simulation week.
It will be taught entirely in English and will combine synchronous online lectures, asynchronous recorded sessions, and in-person practical activities.

Most classes will be held online and synchronously, mainly outside working hours — typically on occasional midweek evenings (Monday to Friday, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. CET) and on full weekends (Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. CET) — to support the participation of working professionals.

To ensure flexibility, online sessions are scheduled on alternate weekends, while in-person activities are organized into three intensive weeks:

Week 1: 20–24 April 2026 – Oxfam Supply Centre (Bicester, UK)
Week 2: June 2026 – UNIVPM-DIISM Department (Ancona, Italy)
Week 3: October/November 2026 – Italy (location TBC, final simulation)

Additional asynchronous lectures recorded by instructors will be available on the Moodle platform.

Given the unpredictable schedules of participants and instructors, the academic calendar may be adjusted during the programme.

This blended and flexible format balances professional commitments with an engaging, practice-oriented learning experience.
