FAQ
What is the calendar of lectures? How many weeks/hour per week?
Classes will start in mid-November 2024 and will end by mid-November 2025. Online classes will be held mainly from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Sporadic mid-week classes will generally be held from 6 p.m. onwards.
On average, the Master’s Course will be held two weekends per month.
In addition, there will be three face-to-face meetings (presumably February, June and September) lasting between three and seven days.
During the course, what kind of assignments are required? exams, paper writing?
During the master’s course, individual and group exercises, and the completion of in-progress tests are planned and compulsory.
At the end of the lessons, the passing of final examinations for each module and the writing of the final dissertation are expected.
The thesis work must be developed on a topic to be presented to and approved by the scientific committee.
Are there any kind of scholarships/financial aid provided to cover tuition fees?
Unfortunately, there are no scholarships made available by UNIVPM to cover the cost of the master’s degree.
Each student must look for other financial backers, public or private entities that can support him/her in meeting the expenses of this course.
The internship is provided through the university? Or do I have to find it myself?
The 300 hours of Internship are a fundamental training moment to be carried out within the same UNIVPM Departments, Public Institutions, companies, non-governmental organizations, where students will be able to put into practice the skills acquired in the classroom.
The master’s staff will support the student in establishing placement contracts with the various partner organisations of the master’s programme.
The student will also have the possibility of proposing an internship at organisations or bodies that are not partners of the Master’s course. In this case, the Scientific Committee will assess the relevance of the topic covered in the internship with the themes of the Master’s course.
What can the master's final paper deal with?
The thesis work may develop one topic addressed also during the placement, but it does not end with a simple report of the internship.
